Jahangiri Palace is situated in the Agra Fort of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Jahangir Palace is a remarkable structure within the Agra Fort. There are Khas Mahal,Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-e-Khas,Anguri Bagh and Moti Masjid.
The palace was built by Akbar. It is one of the oldest buildings of Akbar's reign. Jahangir clearly expresses in his memory that the buildings were built by his father Akbar, but there was no credit for the construction of the Jahangiri palace or the palace. Mughal Empress Nur Jahan used this magnificent palace as his residence until his death on 17 December 1645.
There is a huge bowl called Hauz-i-Jahangiri that is carved out of a single piece of stone. This was used as a container for fragrant rose water.
